What a week it’s been!
£158 was raised at the Zambia Fun run last week – huge well done and thanks to all pupils who participated.
On Monday Year 5 & 6 pupils participated in a Danish Long Ball event in school organised by the School’s Sports Partnership.

On Wednesday Year 5 & 6 enjoyed a morning with Sarah Millington, author of Damelza Rice is not very nice. They spoke about some key aspects of the book such as; transition to secondary school, online bullying and how to overcome negativity. The children then talked about their feelings towards transitioning to secondary school.

On Wednesday 30 pupils attended the Durham Dash event at Beamish, congratulations to all participants and a special thank you to parents/carer for supporting the event.

On Thursday Year 1 & 2 pupils had the opportunity to learn how to play the African drums, they enjoyed it enormously and made lots of noise!

All pupils took part in the Health and Wellbeing today and enjoyed fitness and steps activities including dancing outside at breaktimes.
