It has been an exciting week for the school as Monday saw the start of the installation of our new Crinkle Crags equipment. This is a project that develops physical play opportunities outside at breaktimes. The Crinkle Crags equipment is a large climber/bird watching tower structure for children to scramble on outside. We hope that this will be completed by the end of next week and look forward to watching the children develop their physical skills whilst playing.

It has been lovely to welcome all the children back for the start of the new term.
This week Year 5 had an exciting day: Wilderness Outdoor Education visited the school to deliver a Polar Regions Survival Workshop. The children enjoyed learning about how to prepare for a Polar Expedition and how to survive in these regions. A great day was had by all.
Pictures from this day can be viewed in the Year 5 Gallery.

These shows are being uploaded to our website for parents to watch, the videos are password protected and passwords will be sent out to parents. You can access the shows at https://www.framprimary.durham.sch.uk/community/gallery/christmas-performances/ .
The Music Club has been very busy rehearsing and recording a Christmas song which is being entered into the Durham Music Service’s Christmas Choir Competition. You can view the entry in the video below. Well done!
