Another busy week at FMPS!
On Monday Penguins class visited St Aiden’s Church and had a lovely time seeing all of the important features that are inside a church, please click on the link to view our gallery:
SNAG – School Nutrition Action Group. The children met with 3 members of staff from Chartwells to try some of the new menu starting after half term. They tried the chicken curry and rice, pizza and chocolate cake. The children were brilliant in expressing what they liked the most and which items from the menu selection that they are no so keen on. Please click on the link to view our gallery:

On Wednesday all of the children enjoyed the Harvest Festival assembly. We were very grateful for the huge amount of donations sent into school and thank you once again for your kindness and generosity, please click on the link to view our gallery:

Today was FMPS Book Festival Day and as usual the children have turned up dressed as some fabulous characters, well done everyone! We will add a link in next week’s blog once we have all the photographs on the website!
Reminders for next week:
- Thursday – Y1 Gymnastics Festival – Sherburn, children can arrive in PE clothes, trainers & coat. The coach will be leaving prompt at 9am so please make sure children are in school by 8.45am.
- Thursday – Y4 Bikeability sessions, pupils who wish to take part are required to bring in a bicycle & helmet that is safe and road worthy. Please note the consent must be completed before they can attend.
- Friday – Parents will be informed of when and how they can book an online appointment for face to face meetings in school week commencing 6th November.
