In this section of our website we would like to share our images of events and visits with you. We have also added information about our close links with our local community, some visit our school on a regular basis and work closely with us to help make changes.

Jaguars Y5 All Saint Church visit
Jaguars have had a lovely morning visiting All Saints Church this morning. We took part in their Easter in a Box workshop where we explored the Easter story using props and crafts.
Christmas Brass Concert Tuesday 12th December 2023
On Tuesday, musicians from Durham Music Services came into school and performed a Christmas Brass Concert for KS1 & KS2. The performance was fantastic and they made it really fun for the children, they thoroughly enjoyed it.

FMPS Harvest Festival Assembly Wednesday 11th October 2023
On Wednesday all of the children enjoyed the Harvest Festival assembly. We were very grateful for the huge amount of donations sent into school and thank you once again for your kindness and generosity
On Tuesday 3rd October PCSO’s Kirsty and Steve visited school to lead an assembly. They explained to the children what a ‘Day in the Life’ of a PCSO was like and discussed the types of duties they carry out.
Y4 Christmas Songs
Pupils from Year 4 attended ‘St Aidan’s Kitchen’ to share the Christmas songs that they have learnt in our local community. The pupils sang beautifully and the community members were delighted to see such energy and enthusiasm whilst the pupils performed.

Our Local PCSO’s 2019-2020
Tim and Kirsty are from our local community police force and often pop in to do special assemblies. This assembly discussed ‘making the right choices’ with pupils from Y1 to Y6.
Crime and Consequence
The Durham Gala Theatre 2019-2020
Madame Raine and our German Club attended a workshop at The Durham Gala Theatre. The children had the opportunity to learn songs in German with Marina Schwartz before then performing on stage.
German Festival
Every year we participate in the School Sports Partnership Dance Festival and our KS2 children go along to the Christmas pantomime at the Gala.
Children In Need 2019-2020
Every year our school raises money for Children in Need. This year we managed to raise £519.80. Below is the thank you from Pudsey!
