Sports fielding
Y2 had a great time at the striking and fielding sports festival. We played lots of mini games practicing our throwing and catching skills.
Hardwick Park
KS1 went to Hardwick Park. We saw swans, ducks and even baby goslings. We even found the gruffalo! Then it was onto a Roald Dahl workshop. We created our own dream catchers, made a magic medicine and then created our own mini world. A great time surrounded by nature and sunshine.

Y1 had a brilliant afternoon at the sports festival learning lots of skills to put into action when playing invasion games.

Seals english cafe
Seals class enjoyed their English Cafe this morning playing some great games to help with their reading and writing skills
Penguins English cafe
On Monday Penguins class had English café thank you to all the parents who manage to come we all enjoyed some lovely and exciting activities as you can see from the photos below.
KS1 enjoyed a lovely visit from Santa before our Christmas party.
Eco Warriors
This week the Eco Warriors had a visit from Grace who works for Oases. Ks1 had a workshop looking at the story 'Greta and the Giants' and then looked at different things around our globe that are making our world warmer.
KS2 also had a workshop looking at greenhouse gases and delved into types of energy such as renewable sources and non-renewable sources. After this, they tested a solar panel and a wind turbine on the playground.
Hancock museum
KS1 took a trip to the Hancock Museum in Newcastle on Wednesday and explored all the amazing exhibitions to do with animals and living things.
BOOK FESTIVAL DAY
Seals enjoyed sharing their favourite stories today, we had stories of all kinds from fantasty, dinosaurs and even stories about historical periods!
